In genereal ice hockey and la crosse are very similar games. Sometimes, trainers of hockey players say them, that they should play la crosse. So, what are the differences and similarities of this two games ? 

There are a lot of similarities between ice hockey and la crosse. One of them is that in the two games played on the field five players , excluding the goalkeeper. La crosse players use a stick like a hockey player. Moreover, all tactics, strategies and uniform of this types of sport are similar. Players of La crosse use to game severe form and helmet. It means, that this two games are very dangerous and agressive. 

However, there are some differences between these two approximately similar games. Firstly, La crosse played in summer on special lawn and players of this game use spike shoes, which help them to run on the lawn. Ice hockey players use for game skates and play in winter on the ice. Secondly, in La crosse use to play rubber ball, and in hockey use puck, because simple ball can not effective on the ice. So, this type of sports have some differences.

To conclude, La crosse and Ice hockey have a lot of similarities and differences. I think that this two games are seasonal games. For example, La crosse is summer game, Ice hockey is winter. This games are very interesting and attractive.
